This product is absolutely terrific! It will work just great to meet my Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations in Science, and it is VERY affordable for the work that went into making it. I have one small issue that I hope you can address: the multiple choice questions at the end. The 4 choices are too large to fit on the screen, so you can't see the fourth choice. I was trying to fix it myself, but that messes up the buttons for correct/incorrect. Can you fix this issue for me? I don't need it for a few weeks, so just let me know when you can get to it.

Both of the files have the same content. The answer key is first, but if you scroll down, the key is followed by the blank student question sheet. There are two files because one is a PDF and the other is in word. I assume that the word file is the one that is giving you trouble. The only reason that you would really need it is if you want to make changes or additions. Nicole--I love this PP! So well done. A few modifications I need to make for my inclusion classes--they sounds the kids usually love! In some classes it can distract some students--is there a way to remove the sounds all at once or do I need to go to each slide? I could not find the place to make the change within PP.
Also--some of the text slides have background text residual -- I plan to go through and make the frame solid white--any suggestions for a way to do this globally for the whole PP?

As far as the sounds go, there is no easy fix within PowerPoint that I know of. You wouldn't just have to do each slide, you would have to do each text box. Since there are 3 or more on each slide, it would be a lot of work. It is much easier to just turn down the volume or mute your computer.
The text residual that you are talking about sounds like a problem that I have when the connections get loose on my projector. If you just wiggle the plug that connects your computer to your projector (at both ends of the connection) a little, the residual should disappear.
If you really want to change the color in each text box, it can be done one slide at a time. There are several steps and sending you a picture of my screen along with the instructions would be easiest. Would you be willing to reply with an email address so that I could send the instructions with a picture of my screen? If you would rather not, or if the wiggle of the connection on the projector gives you what you want, let me know.

I am really sorry for not getting back to you. I use to check for questions religiously but never had any. I just got out of the habit of checking. I tried downloading the file from two different computers and wasn't ask for a password, and I never set it with a password. Are you doing this with a school computer? In our district, certain things require an administrator password from the district. If you would like, I could email the file. If you send me an email address, I promise to get it out promptly. I'm sorry to be a bother, but I just tried to open the new files and it is still asking for a password in order to extract the files. It is downloading as compressed files and then in order to extract them, it wants a password. This is true in either format. I don't think it makes a difference in regards to the word or pdf, I think it has something to do with them begin compressed and needing to be extracted. If that is not fixable, just let me know and I'll apply for a refund.

It's not a bother at all. I wish that I knew what the problem is. I have downloaded the files from the sight in both rtf and pdf and wasn't asked for a password. I don't even know how to put a password on the file. Have you successfully used other zip files? I know I am asked for an administrator's password to perform other functions on my SCHOOL computer and thought maybe that was the issue. Anyway, the reason that it is a zip file is because there are separate parts that are formatted differently. If there is another way to post them on the sight, I don't know what it is. Do you have an email address that I could send the files to?

My apologies for not getting to you sooner. I just found the message today. I think that the problem is the result of me posting this as an rtf file. The original should open if you are using word to open it, but I have changed everything to PDF files just in case. It has been updated on the sight so that you can now download the PDF version. If this doesn't solve your problem, let me know and I'll try something else. If it works, please let me know what you think of the game.

I am really sorry for not getting back to you. I use to check for questions religiously but never had any. I just got out of the habit of checking. I tried downloading the file from two different computers and wasn't ask for a password, and I never set it with a password. Are you doing this with a school computer? In our district, certain things require an administrator password from the district. If you would like, I could email the file. If you send me an email address, I promise to get it out promptly. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught for 12 years in a school with a very diverse population. My inclusion classrooms include special education students who perform academically as low as 1st or 2nd grade. My enriched classes have students with college reading levels and some that are taking Math classes with 7th and 8th grade. Having lessons and activities that can be adapted to varying ability levels is critical.
MY TEACHING STYLE
My teaching style needs to be flexible due to the varying ability levels. Instruction in my inclusion classes is more structured and guided. With classes of higher ability levels and motivation, the instruction allows for more independence and more variation when it comes to certain activities.
