TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 2005 at different primary levels in Trinidad and Tobago. I love to express my creativity in the classroom; if I'm having fun, then it makes learning fun for my students. My secret formula is having a positive classroom environment, a lot of humor and an infectious smile! Teaching allows me to experience the joys of seeing the world through a child's eyes.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use art and humour and hands on activities as much as possible. Students appreciate the creativity, it grabs their attention. It also helps them to remember what they learned in the long term.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I believe that teachers need to share ideas and support each other because in doing so, we help to educate our students and develop ourselves as teachers. See my teaching blog at http://mscraftynyla.blogspot.com for more stuff and freebies!
