I love participating in Currently on my blog, so it is awesome to bring this into the classroom. We have only used it for April and May, but I can already see the benefit of having students look forward to this each month (thinking about what they would write for each category already). Next year, my 5th graders will be 1-1 laptop and will have a shared blog. I'm wondering if you would create thumbnails of these and allow them to be used on student blogs...I understand these were meant for printing in the classroom, but would love to allow students to take their responses to the web.

Since it is a PDF I think they can screenshot the currently they would like to use and then upload it to PowerPoint to add text boxes and then save it as a jpeg... I think that might work :) if it doesn't let me know and I'll see what I can do ;)

I don't see an answer key for grading the recording sheets. I can create one, but thought I would check to see if there is one already available. I purchased this activity after Thanksgiving, so I cut out the problems and put them on Christmas plates. The kids loved the activity and I loved the spiral review!

the addition is from 10 + 10 through 0 + 0
if you want them to focus on the upper level ones you could easily print out more of the higher level cards

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my 12th year teaching. I student taught 4th grade and taught 3rd grade for 10 years...now I AM BACK IN 4TH & LOVE-N it. I teach ALL the basic subjects math, writing, reading, etc...
MY TEACHING STYLE
I LOVE being able to do my own thing and I often like to go against the norm!!! I enjoy routine but LOVE surprises. I pride myself in having the best mannered class!!! I set the bar high and expect all to reach it. No excuses from kids or parents or coworkers... take responsibility for your actions. Tell the truth, don't pick your nose, don't show me your loose tooth, and give your best all the time ~ my rules!!!

I went to SWT and have a BS degree in Large Animal Pre-Vet medicine. Then went back and got my Masters in Education and specialized in Reading. Big Change right??? teaching is like a Zoo some days!!! :)
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I have been married for 13 years to my high school sweetheart!!! and we have a BEAUTIFUL son who just turned 4!!! We are blessed beyond belief and are enjoying every minute of parenthood!!! I also LOVE to BLOG and create digital invites for friends and family. I am a want to be photographer. I LOVE all things shabby and love to dumpster dive (not really just like to stake out the neighbors' trash). I have too many collections to mention... Ok just a few... I collect old windows, the letter F and D, Disney ornaments, and old road signs... I love upcycling old used items into new workable pieces. I enjoy being with friends and family and LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the Holidays because I get to decorate!!! I go crazy when I plan parties... CrAzY... BUT I LOVE it!!! I probably am a little OCD but whatever. To sum the rest of it up... I am a plus size, jewelry wearing, TJ Maxx shopping, strawberry margarita drinking (only one after school on Fridays... we call it choir practice), 4th grade teacher!!!
