Lynn Taylor  (TpT Seller) re: Play On! Shakespeare for Classroom Performance
Could you be more specific about the plays? I am looking for an adapted romeo and Juliet for my new 9th grade esl class. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Lynn --

I'm out of town today and so don't have immediate access to my Play On! text, but I know there are no scenes from R&J in it. I used scenes from other plays -- Macbeth, Julius Caesar, Henry V, Richard IIII among them -- to allow my students to apply the skills they learned from their R&J study to other examples of Shakespearean drama.

Hope this helps. I can give you a more specific answer late tomorrow.

Many thanks for your inquiry --

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

From 1991-20007, I worked as a substitute, part-time and full-time teacher in public schools in Northern Virginia and Atlanta.

MY TEACHING STYLE

"To me education is a leading out of what is already there in the pupil's soul. To Miss Mackay it is a putting in of something that is not there, and that is not what I call education. I call it intrusion." Muriel Spark, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie
