Combined we have over 24 years of elementary classroom experience. Additionally, we both have served as literacy coaches, district professional development trainers, and curriculum facilitators. Our greatest joy comes from working with teachers throughout our state to provide unique and creative ways to teach vocabulary.

We began One Stop Word Shop because we are wild about words! We believe teachers and students should crave, collect and consume all kinds of words. As teachers and coaches we understand the importance of providing kid-friendly, Common Core ready materials. We believe vocabulary lessons should excite and engage students in word study. We use tips, strategies and stories which exchange children's ordinary words for extraordinary vocabulary. We understand the importance of providing kid-friendly, Common Core ready materials.
