Hi Pam! Your templates are pretty awesome! Can you create a customized template for the ESOL teacher K-5 Common Core Standards? I can provide you with the specific info. I would need on it. Thanks! :)

I teach all 4th grade content except math. My 4th graders go to other classrooms, therefore I teach 3rd grade math.

Yes, I'm interested in Kentucky CCS. This is our second year of ELA/math. I use Marzano as well.
Hi~ I am so excited about the lesson plan template! I have a couple of questions about how you use it! ;0)
1. I am not very familiar with the Marzano's Standards. Do you use a different one daily? Or should these be the same all week?
2. Under the ELL section what are the A, B, C, etc for?
3. What are the boxes at the bottom with Teacher Observation, Timed Test, etc. for?
4. Will you eventually have Science and Social Common Core pull down?
Thanks so much! Kari ;0)
Marzano is the evaluation system our district uses. The strategies are usually one or two a day per subject.
The letters under the ELL are expalined at the bottom of the spreaksheet.
There are not common core for Science ans SS theya are the ELAs. I have been thinking about adding the ELAs to the Science and SS but I was waiting to see how this was going to be required in the classroom.
Thanks! Please feel free to ask anything else!

Linda Hoy re: Common Core/Marzano Interactive Lesson Plan Template-Fifth Grade Math
I really like your interactive lesson plan template. Do you have a template for 8th grade Math (NGSSS) including the CCS? If not, can you produce one for me? I am also interested in one for Geometry.

Any plans to make your templates for the middle school grades? I teach in a middle school resource room & I believe your templates would be a huge help to me. Thanks!

Traci Menge (TpT Seller) re: Common Core/Marzano Interactive Lesson Plan Template-Second Grade Reading/LA
Before giving feedback I wanted to ask you a question. I have ALL of your planning files from grades K thru 2 with 2 being my latest purchase. There are a few 'concerns' I have and would like to know if you plan on working on them before I rate your product. Some of these apply to all of your product so I would love to see the problems solved. Here they are:
1.) In the Common Core Standards the drop down standards leaves much to behold. ALOT is left out in the drop down section. You pretty much have to have the standards next to you as you write your plans and that's a pain. Will you fix it to where ALL of the standards can be seen?
2.) Also in the Common Core Standards you can only put 1 standard per box. It would be nice to be able to put more than one. Will this get fixed.
3.) I may be wrong but why isn't there a drop down menu for the Learning Goals/Standards section?
4.) Why isn't there a Common Core Standard box per day? There are only 3 and because you can only put one per box you're limited to 3 per week. That isn't reality.
Right now that's all I can think of off the top of my head. I do like the product I just think there are a few glitches (the most important being the ability to see more in the drop-down meeting) that need looking at. Thank you.
1) The entire standard can be seen off to the side where they are housed. This is an excel feature due to the version you are using. If you have version 2010 then the entire standard would pop up
2) Another feature of excel, only one drop down per cell.
3) These boxes were left blank on purpose to allow teachers to put their learning goals in their own words. A cell cannot include typed text and drop down boxes at the same time.
4)This was a personal preference I do not find myself teaching more than three standards in one week in one subject.
I appreciate you feedback. Please understand that I developed these worksheets for my own use in my own classroom then decided to publish them. Most of the features you are asking for I totally agree with however they are limits to the version of excel we are using.
I also was concerned withthe pages and wanted to limit the plans to two pages per subject. Thanks for your support

Hi,
Do you have this available in the format that doesn't require MS 10?
Thanks,
Debbie
It was written in MS 2011 but saved so that versions as far back as 97 can open it.
I hope this helps!
Thank you

I am in a self-contained InD classroom, so we use the access points. The standards are the same, but modified. I am teaching Language Arts/Reading; Math; and Science. I don't know if you are able to do this, but I would certainly purchase them if you could. Please let me know. Thank you for responding so quickly!
I believe an ESE teacher at our school included these, I will check it out

Will you do 9/10 and 11/12 templates with drop down menus for Florida anytime soon? I love your plans and would love to use them in my high school classes.
llevins re: Interactive First Grade Social Studies Lesson Plan Template-Florida
Is there any way to combine Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies into one document so that when my principal looks at my lesson plans she does not have to open four separate documents?
You could copy and paste each page into a separate sheet . Here is a great link to use http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-help/insert-or-delete-a-worksheet-HP001217034.aspx

Hi, I purchased the CCSS template with Marzano's blocks for both reading and math-4th grade. The template is great. I have run into one small problem-on Friday, under the task section, the cursor begins in the middle of the box. It seems like the formatting is different and I am not sure if I inadvertently changed it or that is the way it is suppose to be? This occurs on both the reading and math template. I would like the cursor to appear in the top right hand corner like the other days. Is there a way I can change it? Thank you!
HI,
Sorry about that just click on the box, then right click, when the menu pops up click on the alignment tab and change the drop down to left instead of center. If you need I can send you new ones, just give me your e-mail! Thanks for the purchase.

I purchased the Florida template with Marzano's blocks ready to use.
My question is can i choose multiple standards for each block? like, could i copy and paste the whole block again?
I love your plans. I teach in Florida and feel a huge relief using your plans as a tool. My first grade team is going to edit the reading plans to fit us. I would like to pay you for the other 4 using your template. I don't need to download the plan though. I already have it. How can I pay you?
If you change the drop down list it will throw off the formatting. If you know excel you can customize to what ever you need.
I have placed new Kindergarten plans on TPT that do not have SSS only Common core.

I'm in Connecticut-Waterbury to be exact. A drop down menu would be great for Bloom's. I've been doing alot of online research trying to find an easy format for Bloom but it doesn't exist. Your plan is perfect. I've showed it off during an school inservice and everyone was awed. However, we don't use Marzano strategies--they were going to but changed their minds when we got a new super. I've checked out Teacherpayteachers for anything Bloom lesson plan--nothing that is as easy as yours.
Linda
I can take out the Marzano and put in Bloom's. Does the entire state use Blooms? I will work on these in the next few days and post them as CCSS/Bloom.

GREAT and EASY to use plans. Our district has decided to switch to a Bloom's taxonomy based plan. Any chane you'd ever to a plan for Bloom. There is nothing out there as easy to use as yours.
Just thought I'd ask.
Linda
No problem, Just give me your e-mail address and I will e-mail you the one you need. Thanks for buying!!

I purchased the lesson plan template for first grade and I am wondering for the smaller boxes that you have (timed test, fluency, teacher observation) etc., what do you actually place in those frames? Do you use them for check marks or something?

I teach at the lab school at FAU. This format has been a big hit with everyone I've mentioned it to!
I see reference to a PowerPoint with instructions. Is there any way to get that? The top portion seems pretty straight forward, but I'd love to see how some of the boxes at the bottom are meant to be used.
Sorry I thought it would show that the Preview file is the PowerPoint on how to use these. Just go to one and click on the preview button. I am not sure if I included the bottom button instruction. The ESL are also drop downs of ELL strategies and the others are for you to type your students on IEP accomodations and a place to list your RTI students. My e-mail is paursland@hotmail.com send me a message and I will send you a copy of one of my weeks.
I teach third grade in Florida and so my plans must reflect the NG Sunshine State Standards. Any chance that you would create a template for that? I would be willing to pay for Reading and Math!
