TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Creating teacher resources has always been a passion of mine! When I began teaching in 1997, I immediately began designing materials and have been doing so ever since. When my husband who is also a teacher told me about TPT, I was so excited! I love Teachers Pay Teachers because it has given me a place to showcase my work and share with other teachers around the globe! It is exciting to know that students near and far are using my creations. That certainly inspires me to continue developing materials and collaborating with fellow teachers. MY TEACHING STYLE
My teaching style is to have fun! I am a visual learner, therefore I think it is crucial to provide as many visuals as possible when teaching. I have taught second language learners my entire teaching career, so I also see the value in using visuals for students that need extra support.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I majored in elementary education at the University of Iowa. I then moved to Los Angeles and began teaching 14 years ago. During the past 14 years, I earned 2 master's degrees. The first in curriculum and the second in educational administration from California State University, Northridge.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I have 3 babies. One human, ten months old. The other two are miniature dachshunds, three and four years old.
