I am a special ed teacher, co-teaching Science and Social Science in an Anne Arundel County school. I am also a professional photographer and writer with three published books on the Chesapeake, including "Chesapeake Wildlife: Stories of Survival and Loss." My writing and photography has been published over 1,000 times in books, magazines, and newspapers. I also sell my work at art shows in the Baltimore/Washington/Ocean City, Md. area.
I like to get to know each child and figure out how to help them reach their potential. I know that every child can learn. It's just a matter of figuring out what clicks for them.

I'm a graduate of the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, and am currently in a graduate program at UMUC for Educational Technology. I am also a Photoshop expert.
I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with my husband, Rusty Keene, and our two dogs.
