That's a good idea. I was afraid that would make the PP too long, however. Since it talks about different ways to outline, as well as mapping, etc. I would have had to do that for each form of note taking.

Your paragraph is not an implied main idea, it is right there for the reader to see.

The first sentence is just a hook. The details of the paragraph talk about using observation to forecast the weather. The students should come up with an implied main idea such as: "You can use observation to forecast the weather."

I am teaching mystery short stories right now and this provided a nice fun break in what I was teaching. The students could still catch all of the mystery elements and had fun acting it out!

I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done!
Here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market this product. Create a cover page for each of your products which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. (I noticed some didn't have one.) You might also add a second page/slide which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page/slide. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages/slides.
Since your teaching background is so diverse, I’d love to have your input on one of my freebies listed below.
