My students were so excited to get a snack of cinnamon toast to introduce this activity. I ended up having them write a pair of synonyms on each piece of "toast," then they put glue around the edges of the toast and we sprinkled cinnamon onto the glue. After the glue dried, they cut out the "toast" and glued those pieces onto a piece of brown construction paper and wrote "My Cinnamon Synonym Toast" on the top. It made a really CUTE bulletin board that smelled good, too!

I am unable to make copies. Do not have this problem with other work I have purchased just this one. I have a MAC. Would this be the problem? Please help would love to use this lesson this week.

Is there any way you would consider making book response sheets for a listening center? I am looking for pictorial clues to go along with them. I am very pleased with your response cards! I am not looking for the favorite part but am looking for beg/middle/end of story, knowing the characters, setting and story line but I need pictures to demonstrate each part for I have bilingual students who need clues. My teaching style is definitely non-traditional - I don't even have chairs in my classroom! I believe that children learn best through playing, moving, and doing and try to keep my lessons as fun and interactive as possible.
