I am a learner myself; I am fascinated by how we construct knowledge and learn; how we develop concepts, interpret and analyse information; how we make connections between ideas and contexts; how we communicate what we know and understand; how we question it, develop hypothesis, test it and engage critically with new ideas and different viewpoints. And ultimately how absolutely infinite the possibilities for learning is, in this world that we live in filled with all its complexity and uncertainty.

For me being a teacher is a pathway for “me becoming me”. What I mean by this is that in essence we teach who we are, and who I am is a person drawn to this profession because of the freedom that exists within a classroom to think, to take risks, to make mistakes, to be in an environment that promotes learning, human development, and to be with children and other adults dedicated to the same pursuit.
