Reasonably satisfied with product, though there is not really enough information for an introductory lesson - it is mostly a summary of the novella with mention of theme and characterization. As an introduction I had hoped for better background information on the setting,(both geographically and socially) as well as pearl diving. Organization is clear and the powerpoint is visually attractive.

I love the information you have on the slides. I agree with the other reviews that mentioned the absence of Clarisse in the powerpoint. You could have students create their own slide for Clarisse if you are using the powerpoint for review purposes.

I really enjoyed this PowerPoint, however, my 7th grade students were slightly confused as I went through it. they were unfamiliar with the stories that were referenced and I had to give brief summaries of each one for them. This helped teach allegory, but confused my students slightly. Thanks.

I love the powerpoint format, and the graphics are very engaging. But, a lot of these pick-up lines aren't idioms. So... that makes it not very useful *to teach idioms*.

I have up to date versions of powerpoint and word. I cannot open my download of the Globe Theatre powerpoint in either format. The document says it was created in word but is a powerpoint and is a ppt.doc document. I notice I am not the only one with this problem...wondering how we can solve it. Thanks!

Before I give you a rating, I will give you an opportunity to improve this PPt. Many of your pictures are distorted. You need to italicize the play titles. Do not use quotation marks unnecessarily. From about slide 17 to the end, you need to remove the words "Click to Add Title" and make sure that all text on the slides are visible. I cannot use this in my classroom.
