Hi Patti! I'm sorry you're having trouble opening the file. I haven't had anyone else with this problem and just tried downloading it myself, and it worked fine. When you receive this prompt while opening a file, either something went wrong while downloading (just try downloading the file again) or it is a software issue (needing an update). Hi! The passport is in a PDF document, but I included six passports (mixing up the 10 different countries) as well as a blank passport so you could write in (with a pen) your countries if needed. There's also an included note in the unit to just send me an email if you need a custom-made passport (I know we all study different countries!), and I'll make one for you free of charge! Hi! I love your packet of parent handouts. My school has been working on compiling a similar handout to give to our families. I hope I'm not overstepping with this request, but I was wondering if there was any way to get these handouts in an editable format, instead of as a PDF. I teach at a bilingual school and most of our families are Spanish speakers. I would love to send this packet home with our families, but we'd need to translate it. The graphics and formatting looks so good on yours and I'd want the Spanish version to be equally visually appealing, as well as informative. Hi! It's not a silly question! The Promethean ActivBoard is very similar to a SmartBoard. It does use a different software program though. Instead of Smart Notebook, there is ActivInspire. You can download it for free at http://support.prometheanplanet.com/server.php?show=nav.19251&changeCountry=United+States As long as you download the software at school, everything should work just fine. I went from working in a school with ActivBoards to working in one with SMARTBoards, so to save myself some time, I just download the ActivInspire software so I could use my same files, and it worked fine. :-) You can always try to download the software and one of my free ActivBoard files just to make sure everything works OK first. If you have any other questions, please just let me know!
