Thanks! A lot of my students like this song the best from the Professor Presley History Rocks album. When I tell them I was inspired by the Clash's "London Calling" when I wrote the music, they look at me with blank stares? lol I guess I should tell them I was inspired by Taylor Swift.....

I would have liked to see a visual example of the storybaord (student example) to show the students. I ended up drawing up my own. In that regard, the directions were very clear. I have to admit, the song grew on me! Great project for a piece of history that is difficult to bring to life for 8th graders.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I graduated from SDSU with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. I taught one year in Central America and then returned to San Diego and earned a Single Subject Credential in Social Science. I recently earned a Master's degree in History.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I was born on the same day as Dr. Seuss and have always had a knack for making up silly rhymes and songs. I took this to a new level when I began to write songs based on the History Standards. I am a firm believer in the use of music across the curriculum and feel that using music in the classroom creates a classroom environment that the students look forward to each day.
