This is another good resources to use with the book. If you teach reading and language arts then you can use this for your language arts grades.

Hi This is Fiona from Pupil's Advantage. I just wanted you to know that I reimbursed you for the two magic tree house worksheets that you bought separately from the 10-pack. There is no point in paying for no. 1 and no 2. separately when they are included in the other set. Thanks for the purchases. I appreciate it.

The tasks were a little too hard for my first grader that reads on a 6th grade level. I'm sure it's fine for older kids. : )

Dear Kcooper,
That is really interesting. I hope you don't mind my asking for clarification: is it that the various language arts skills were asking too much of a 6/7 year old, though the reading level is high. This will help me to tailor the worksheet properly. Thanks

While this packet is very well done, much of the work was too difficult for my students to access independently (reading at late 2nd/early 3rd grade level). This probably is better suited to higher grades, but then those students may not want to read Magic Tree House books.

No answer key, no chapter questions. This focuses more on grammar than comprehension.

Thank you for your feedback. The product description is as it says and certainly never promised an answer key: there is both grammar and comprehension in this worksheet. It is very important that students not be given simplistic questions just to ensure they have read when open-ended questions can provide a better sense of where students are individually. They cannot answer these questions if they have not read carefully. The questions asks the students to insert themselves into the story to envision being a reporter informing the public about the earthquake for example and to reinforce language arts skills; although it does not follow questions chapter by chapter, it involves enough comprehension question for students to follow the arc of the story. I am sorry the product did not suit your purposes closely. I hope that I can better serve you next time.

There are a lot a great questions (writing plurals, creating similies, as well as "what do you think" thought provoking queries) however I want to correct you that homonyms are words that share the same spelling and pronunciation (rose-rose) whereas homophones are words that are pronounced the same but may not have the same spelling (eg carat-carrot, two-to-too). It seems on question 31 you have these switched.
And the first question needs to be reworded: "What makes Jack and Annie return to the tree house during lunchtime?" seems more appropriate.

Hello. Thanks for your feedback and the very constructive comments. I will make the necessary adjustments shortly. On another note all together, I noticed that you downloaded multiple copies of my items and I am not sure if you did this inadvertently. If so, I am happy to replace the duplicates with another worksheet. You can email me directly (pupilsadvantage@gmail.com) or I can confer with Paul about how best to do this. Thanks again.

Thanks for your comments. I wish more people would provide feedback. I went over the worksheet again and fixed the errors. I am sorry you did not find it practical or clear or creative. I will have to think about what I can add to it to address those parts, but for now, I'll concentrate on accuracy. Thanks for the headsup

It was difficult to copy because of the yellow printed font on the activities. My son and I had to do some work to get the color to be changed to black. If my son had not been here to help, I would have been very disappointed because of my limited knowledge of the computer. The other document I purchased was easy-- download and copy.
