TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Right now I substitute teach until a position is available. I have substitute taught to make my way through school and then some. I help my teachers in any way necessary.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I want to know what works. I want to know what reaches students. If I do not know, I ask. I love a classroom of skilled learners. This means I need to give them every tool available.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I went to college right out of high school. I had to stop due to raising a family. Ten years later the Lord opened the door and it was time to jump back in. Going back to school as an adult was scary, but I wouldn't trade the experience for the world. I have a greater appreciation for my students now.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have a wonderful husband and a large family. I love the Lord, husband, children, grandchildren, horses, Rufus Jack (Snorkie), and Sugar Jane (Maltese). I always said that I knew I was born to teach when my mom bought me a chalkboard when I was a little girl. I loved to teach my dolls. I come from a long line of educators. : )
