TEACHING EXPERIENCE

From 2003-2010, I taught English, grades 9-12, through the following courses: 9th Grade Coure English 10th Grade Composition (on-level and remedial) 10th Grade Short Story (on-level and remedial) 10th Grade Voices of Dissent (on-level) 10th Grade World Literature (on-level) 11th Grade American Literature (honors, on-level, and remedial) 12th Grade British Literature (on-level) Currently, I am a language arts instructor and supervisor for Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth Online.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classes are normally very interactive. My students participate in discussion daily, whether it is with a partner, in small groups, or as a whole group. Learning is student-centered, and projects and writing assignments form the basis of most major assessments.
