From 2003-2010, I taught English, grades 9-12, through the following courses: 9th Grade Coure English 10th Grade Composition (on-level and remedial) 10th Grade Short Story (on-level and remedial) 10th Grade Voices of Dissent (on-level) 10th Grade World Literature (on-level) 11th Grade American Literature (honors, on-level, and remedial) 12th Grade British Literature (on-level) Currently, I am a language arts instructor and supervisor for Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth Online.
My classes are normally very interactive. My students participate in discussion daily, whether it is with a partner, in small groups, or as a whole group. Learning is student-centered, and projects and writing assignments form the basis of most major assessments.

I received my B.A. in Secondary Education, English from York College of PA in May, 2003. I finished my graduate work in April, 2008, completing the Literacy and Learning in the Content Areas program through Walden University, and earning my M.S. in Education degree.
