The numbers do not correlate with the objectives becsuse each test is a mixed practice test with several objectives. The numbers correlate with the quarter and the week. Ex. 1.4= Quarter 1, week 4. Th e objectives are paced out by the week in my pacing guide which is also in my store.

Hi! The regular pacing guide breaks down each subject's objectives by quarters that they are to be taught. The weekly pacing guide breaks each objective down to which WEEK they are to be taught. Hope this helps :). Many people purchase both. They are both quick references for organization.

I had asked you about 4th grade last week. That would be great if you and your fellow teachers would create and market one for each grade level- then the teachers in my building could be getting them from the same source, which would probably help with our alignment. I hope you have them soon, so we can begin planning in the Spring.

Hi there...I just purchased the 3 Little Pigs and can't open it to view...I wanted to use these projected onto a screen via my document camera, not as a computer activity. I thought I would just be able to print the illustrations with the cloze and use it that way. Any way to do that? Thanks so much. Debbie

I'm sorry you are not able to open it. It is a flipchart, so you would need Promethean software to use it. If you give me your email I will make a powerpoint with the same pictures and you shouldn't have any issues with powerpoint.

The weekly pacing guide has only math science and writing paced out for each week of the school year. I teach departmenalized math science and writing this year. I paced these out by the week. The other regular pacing guide has all subjects, but they are paced out by the quarter rather than the week. Sorry this reply was incomplete yesterday, but the site was acting up and cut me off.

My grade level is departmentalized, so I only teach math writing and science. So, the WEEKLY pacing guide has math, science, and writing paced out for each week of the school year. I do not teach la or reading so these subjects are not paced out by the week. However the regular third grade pacing guide has all subjects paced out by each quarter.

I am soooo sorry! I am so glad you let me know that the writing objectives were missing! I have revised the product and it now has the writing objectives for the entire year. There are only two objectives, maybe three in some quarters, so as far as pacing these are just paced out by the quarter. As far as speaking and listening, have I never made a pacing guide for this section because I used a variety of these skills throughout the year, many times repeatedly. These objectives are more based on how you teach your lessons rather than having a specific lesson on the speaking/listening objective. A checklist might be more apropriate for these objectives. I will be glad to make one if you would like. Let me know what you think and I'll do what ever I can to help out. Thank you.

Hi! I created a pacing guide for all subjects last year. Last school year, I created math language and reading assessments to go with the pacing guides and saved them. So these assessments are in correlation with the pacing guide. They are listed in order of the school weeks. Ex: 1.1- this is quarter 1 week one; 1.2- quarter 1 week 2. Hope this helps. Hi! Nbt.4 is to add and subtract 2digit numbers to 100. It states that it may be necesary to compose a group of ten, So we did not focus on the standard way of carrying/borrowing but rather used sticks of tens and ones to teach the concept through place value.

Hi! In this packet of test, there are 28 individual word documents and I would have had to post them individually, but instead I placed them in a folder and uploaded all test to this site in a zip file (compressed file). If you were to purchase the test, you would dowload the zipped file (which is still Microsoft Word) and when you open it all of the test will appear as individual Word documentsn stored in a folder. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught first grade for 5 and 1/2 years! Although, I am going to sadly miss it, because I am moving to 3rd grade this coming school year. I am excited to begin a new journey in 3rd grade!!
MY TEACHING STYLE
I love learning centers! For every major subject, I teach 20 minutes whole group and then the remaining class I run one center. The children rotate through the four centers by the end of the week leaving one day for assessment. For the whole group time, I may be introducing a new objective, completing a bellringer, playing educational games on the promethean board, etc...
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
I was the grade level head for first grade for 5 1/2 years. I was also lead teacher for the school for two of those years.
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I was born and raised in Gulfport, Ms and graduated from the Gulfport school district. I then went to the University of Southern Mississippi. I now work in the Gulfport school District teaching at Pass Road Elementary School.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
