My kids loved this STEM project. I modified it so that we tried to "save" Humpty by trying to make pillows or helmets to keep him from cracking. We were still able to use the forms to document our trials and results and they had a blast.

Hi Regina,
I was using the I Can Label the parts of an elephant. I think there might be an error. I couldn't find a label for mouth and there seems to be only on box for toe and foot. I was wondering if you could fix it. I think I am looking at it right. By the way, my kiddos have loved doing your labeling sheets. It made our unit studies on informational text great!!!! Thank you so much!!

I'm so glad that you liked my Mushroom In The Rain packet! I found out that the story is based on a folk tale, and so I was able to sequence it.
I don't think that The Umbrella is based on a folk tale (although her story, The Mitten is), so I don't think I can make an actual sequencing sheet. Instead, I can box and label rainforest animals in both color and black and white that can be cut out and glued onto a piece of paper....maybe your students could disregard any animals that aren't in the story as part of your own instructions? (I'll have to see what clipart I have for rainforest animals). It's just an idea....I'll work on it, and hopefully I'll get it done by next weekend (after my teacher evaluation this Wednesday).

I try to show people exactly what they will be receiving if they choose to purchase an item....there are no hidden materials.
I know that the black lines obstruct the view somewhat, but I feel that it gives a fair idea of what is being offered. (I have purchased items on TPT where I think I'll be receiving more than I actually get...that's why I try to show people EXACTLY what they'll be receiving when purchasing my materials.) The pictures used for this powerpoint were taken from images on the web. When I made this powerpoint it was for my personal classroom students. I'm unable to give proper credit to the photographers and for that, I am sorry. This is a free download for other educators to use in their classrooms for educational purposes only. All of my pay items use clip art that I have purchased or that I have gotten for free from other TPT teachers (you can find some freebies for clip art right here...you just have to type in what you are looking for). I have found one clip art artist that I really like who graciously gives her clip art to educators as long as they do not charge for their products. I haven't used her clip art in my TPT products, but I have used them for my students. Try going to Graphics by Ruth at www.archjrc.com/clipart

I love your products! Would you do some organizers and some activities for African animals? We do a huge unit on Africa the beginning February and it lasts the entire month. I love the book Whistling Thorn by Helen Cowcher and also the series of books with Lazy Lion. They are African folktales.

I love your products! Would you do some organizers and some activities for African animals? We do a huge unit on Africa the beginning February and it lasts the entire month. I love the book Whistling Thorn by Helen Cowcher and also the series of books with Lazy Lion. They are African folktales.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my 12th year of teaching. I am in my 7th year of Kindergarten, and I love it! I began teaching in Texas 18 years ago as a Bingual Education Teacher (2 years in 1st Grade, and 1 year in Pre-Kindergarten). When my family moved to Colorado, I taught at my children's private pre-school for 2 years. Once we moved to Florida, I became a stay at home mom (again...I had taken some time off in Texas) until our 3rd child went to Kindergarten. That's when I became a Kindergarten teacher, and I found out that it is my favorite grade to teach! We now have 4 children, and I'm always trying to balance between being a mom and being a teacher!
