I am starting my 16th year as a teacher. I have always taught at the middle school level and I love it! I work at a small school in rural Missouri and am fortunate to have my kids for three consecutive years. I appreciate the time I have to build relationships with my students, and it is a blessing to watch them as they learn and grow in my classroom.

I like to make learning fun and try many different strategies to keep my kids engaged. I am constantly on the lookout for something new and try to plan my lessons around my kids needs.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Missouri State University and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Southwest Baptist University.

I have a wonderful husband to whom I have been married to for 29 Years. We have two adult children and a grandson, Joshua, who is the light of our lives. We also have a golden retriever named Leo.
