mcrie re: Ladybugs: A Kindergarten Literacy Unit
I love your original book about the 6 Little ladybugs. It would be great for my Kdg class readers! Is it possible to download in black and white?

Thank you so much! Have you tried printing in grayscale? If you want a black line version, I could probably make one, but the graphics might have to be changed slightly because the original colored ones didn't come in black line. Let me know if you want me try.

campbellnb re: Popcorn Words: The "op" Word Family
I just purchased "Popcorn Words: The "op" Word Family." There are several errors. On the "shop" page, it has "hop" in the popcorn rather than "shop." On the "bop" page, you have "chop" in the popcorn at the bottom rather than "bop." I like the booklet but hope you can fix these errors before I give feedback. Will you be able to provide an updated download? Thanks!

Yes, of course I will. Thank you for letting me know about the problems. I will work on it right now and send a message when I finish.
The product is back up and the corrections have been made. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your letting me know about the mistakes. This was the one of my first products and it really needed to be revised. I hope you like the changes I made. You are a wonderful customer and I appreciate your input and support. I would love to give you a free product for your kindness. Let me know if I have another product you would be interested in. Thanks again. Richi Reynolds

This is not a question but a request. I would love to be added to your monthly themed boards if it is okay.

Thank you! It did make me feel bad, though. It is amazing how someone can think they are so compassionate and enlightened and then go around trying to make others feel less so. Sort of doesn't fit together. I do appreciate your sweet support and I am sorry you are also getting the same treatment.

Jennifer, you made me smile tonight! Thank you so much! I wish you could use it as well, unfortunately I am strictly an early childhood person, so I would have no idea how to make something appropriate for 5th grade. I know there are probably some people on here who make some wonderful middle school materials, though. As for clipart, I am teaching myself how to do graphics on the computer and it is still a work in progress. When I get a few more items under my belt, I may put together some collections. Perhaps you could tell me some things you could use and I could start practicing! Thank you for taking the time to leave me this message. I hope your year is amazing! :)

I am sure there would be parts of it you could use. I have only taught up to the 3rd grade, but the story would probably work and the poems. The student book might not be appropriate for your students. It has the sentence There was an old teacher who swallowed and then the children trace the word that finishes the sentence. I know your students are all writing in cursive, so the printing might be unnecessary. It was intended to be repetitive for the little children with some handwriting practice thrown in. At the end of the book, there is page where they trace the items and match them to the pictures. You might be able to turn it into a spelling/vocabulary practice. Your students would probably do better with the observation page where they have to describe the old teacher...NOT using the word old. This page would be a challenge for the little guys, but by fourth grade I would think they could come up with some interesting adjectives. The glyph could be made more challenging if you had them draw the old teacher instead of just coloring her. The graph you could use and maybe have a writing assignment to go with it...ie. Write about the supply you would most be interested in using and tell why... I'm not sure how much work you do with rhyming word families at your level, but there are 3 pages that involve ink and ell words. All in all, I guess there would be parts of it you could use and parts that would be below your grade level, however, I would be happy to work with you to adapt some of the pages if you got it and could tell me what skills you need. I would say I would refund if it didn't work for you, but honestly am not sure how that works on TpT! :) Anyway, thank you for your inquiry and if I can help you in any way, please let me know!
