Kindergarten by Design (TpT Seller)
Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I love it, but many of my colleagues are overwhelmed and do not like it at all. Did anyone on your faculty have the same problems? Can you tell me how your school overcame the issues? Of course these questions are assuming you do use it. I really appreciate any help you can give me.

We do use C-scope and in the beginning, probably 5-6 years ago, we were required to do all of it. Lessons too. A Few teachers liked it. Many did not so our district told us to at least follow the scope and sequence and make sure every one of the TEKS were followed in that scope and sequence. I know that the biggest complaint was the amount of time spent getting materials together and preparing the lessons. A few of our teachers still do the lessons but most just follow the scope and sequence and use their own materials for a lesson. Sorry I am not more help than that.
