As having never taught journalism to students, I found this guide to be extremely helpful in organizing my thoughts. I could not, however, give a perfect 4.0 rating due to the lack of "activities." The handbook outlines what is expected of good journalism but is more like "notes" than activities. I still plan on using this resource frequently by turning the notes into activities for my students. Thank you for your wealth of knowledge on the subject!

With the SMARTBoard, you can put the PowerPoint on your computer and then project it onto the SMARTBoard. When you click on the dollar amounts, it should take you to the answer, and then when you click on the "A," it will show you the question. To get back to the category slide, click on the arrow in the bottom right-hand corner. When you go back to the category screen, the questions you have already selected should be a bit darker so you can tell which ones you have already selected. If you use it for more than one class, just close it and then re-open it for the next class and it should be ready to go. I hope this helps... and makes sense! Thanks!

vociferate re: Cars Connotation SMARTBoard Activity AND Group Activity
I downloaded this activity to the Mimio software that I have and some of the images do not show up. They look like they are foggy and I can see an outline of the car but not a clear image like the other ones. Is there something that I can do to fix this?
