If you purchased a PDF and it is after you open it, solve it this way: on a MAC or PC, install the latest version of ADOBE READER. Then, open the file with ADOBE READER. That's it. On a MAC, make sure to "Open With" ADOBE READER and NOT Preview. If it's still blurry, that's because you are still opening it with Preview.

I am a volunteer tutor who works with second graders. They need help with reading. I do this twice a week at their school. Have noticed that two boys are having troubles specifically with b's and d's. Do you know of a resource for help with this. I have thought of simply using a tablet to let them write words they know that begin with these letters. Thank you so much for your valuable information. It has been a great help to me. The children I help are mainly from underprivileged households and I am trying to give them a passion for reading.

Thank you for your response. Opening the file is not the problem. For some reason, it won't print. I am in Adobe, I am choosing the pages that I want and nothing. Is there some way that I could get Book 2 on it's own and try that? I didn't have any problem with Book 1 on it's own.

I love this book, however i live in Australia and some of the sentences use different spelling and words we would not use. ie. mom is mum here and we don't say candy we say lollies. I have found a few sentences i would change such as we live in the united states of america (because well we don't) and i am in grade one we would have i am in kindergarten. Is there any way of editing these sentences? I love this book so much i'd hate to miss the opportunity to give it to my kids.

My district uses the Fry word list, but I have noticed that some of the words are not matching up, such as #148 it may be farm or form depending on what version of the Fry list is being used. As well as many of the endings are different (-s, -ed, etc). I love this product but really need it to match the Fry list used by my district. Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I noticed you would send 10 extra words if there were ones we needed and weren't in the list? I love the design and corresponding pictures! I just wish the lowercase "t" did not curve upward to the right. Is there anyway that you could provide these to me in an editable format or in a different font that does not have the curved "t"? Unfortunately, I'm certain my team leader would not be ok with the curved t. I would love to have these in Chalkboard font!!!!

I'm sorry to hear that you can't download the take home sight word book. Do you have Adobe Reader? Here is what TpT says you can do to fix it:
If you purchased a PDF and it is after you open it, solve it this way: on a MAC or PC, install the latest version of ADOBE READER. Then, open the file with ADOBE READER. That's it. On a MAC, make sure to "Open With" ADOBE READER and NOT Preview. If it's still blurry, that's because you are still opening it with Preview.
If that doesn't work, please email me at learningwithahappyheart@gmail.com. I'll email you the file and we'll see if that helps. Thanks!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have seven years teaching experience. I have taught kindergarten for two years and first grade for five years. I am currently teaching kindergarten. At my school we loop with our students so next year I will have the same class for first grade. I love having the same class for two years!
