I wanted to use this in my intervention class because it's a good activity. However, the sizes of the graphs and tables aren't the same and don't fit in the boxes they are supposed to be glued in. Also, the graphs are very light.

I believe students learn the best when they connect what they are learning to something they already know. I think hands-on activities and lots of practice in math help students learn.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I currently live in Maryland with my fiance who works at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. I just began teaching pre-algebra to 6th and 8th graders at Dunloggin Middle School. I taught in Southwest Virgina the past 4 years at Pulaski Middle School while my fiance attended Virginia Tech for his Ph.D. I taught pre-algebra, algebra and geometry there.
