Are you still selling the pre-made daily 5 organization chart? My Kindergarten team is very interested because we are implementing the Daily 5 for the first time this year.
Thank you,

I just posted a new listing as a set of 40. Just go to http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/DAILY-5-Organization-System-set-of-40 -- if this doesn't work it will be under my TPT store as a set of 40. Let me know if you have any more questions! I charge about $2 an item but since it is such a large order I will only charge $75 including shipping. Thanks!

Can you tell me exactly how you use this? Do they make their choice, and leave it on their desk, turn it in, not sure what they do with it.
thanks, I like the idea, just not sure I have the full understanding. I do
Daily 5, so familiar with checking in and choices.

Usually Daily 5 would be in the morning with the literacy block for me, so I would have them get their cards ready at the end of the previous day and leave it on their table/desk so their schedule is set for the next morning. This way they will have a plan for after morning meeting or right away before morning meeting (They can always come in a do this right away instead of morning work, stop for morning meeting, and continue it after).

If your lit block is in the afternoon, they can get this ready before lunch or specialist or get it ready at a certain time each day and store it in a viewable place so you can use it at anytime.

I put a container with all the mini cards in the middle of each table and they eventually are able to choose their own schedule (you might have to control how many pick listen to reading or word work depending on amount of resources). At the beginning of the year they will share the same schedules with their whole table but each will still practice putting the velcro pieces on their own individual chart to get them used to this process. **You can make extra mini cards for "work with teacher" or "guided reading" if necessary...

It is so smooth and the kids love picking their own schedule and actually SEEING it and KNOWING that they CHOSE what they are doing.

I would store them where they are easily accessible in bunches of certain tables/groups so one student can grab the whole group's charts at the end of each day and then they can all plan their next day. Any storage container works or if you want them viewable another way to do it is to store them in a pocket chart.

I laminated them all so students can write their name and write the day (just the day or date as well) which keeps them on track and helps them maintain an actual "schedule"..

Let me know if you have any more questions. I also sell this pre-made for $50. That comes with a set of 25 with everything laminated, cut, and velcro in place (25 charts, 125 mini cards)
