My next unit is the farm. This will be perfect for my TK's I ran two copies on pink cardstock for memory game or matching game. I thought I would also have them sort by animal and tell each other the names of the alphabet as most of my students know all their upper and lower case letters.

I downloaded your "The Nativity Story" and was so excited. However, the details of the Biblical story are incorrect. The Wise Men followed the star (not the shepherds). Also, the angel appeared to Mary - not in a dream. (Luke 2) The angel appeared to Joseph in a dream.
I'm not try to be critical but would love to use your storyboard but can't because it is not accurate. Will you let me know if it gets corrected? Thanks!!!

I am so sorry I missed replying to your comment earlier.
Originally I had double checked the story to make sure the details were correct and even had it edited by co-workers. (I work at a Christian school.) That item was purchased by DJ Inkers, so I really do not have control over it any longer. I will check through it again and contact them if I see it needs changes. Kindergarten by Design (TpT Seller)
Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I love it, but many of my colleagues are overwhelmed and do not like it at all. Did anyone on your faculty have the same problems? Can you tell me how your school overcame the issues? Of course these questions are assuming you do use it. I really appreciate any help you can give me.

I created all of the games based on the list my school goes from. I work at a private school and we use the list from our reading series plus a few extras that are pulled in. It's a first grade reading series, so it is more than what is learned in Kinder. Here are some of what are included:
Am, is, there, here, have, was, my, go, what, your, we, that, he, she, like, me, play, are, look, be, with, you, and, help (just to name some of them!)
A lot of the games you can include just the words you ate wanting to work on. Hope that helps!!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I currently am teaching my first grade and loving it! I also taught Kindergarten for three years and worked with second graders as well.
MY TEACHING STYLE
My classroom is filled with learning, laughter, and fun. We do a variety of whole group, small group, independent, and partner work. I love any hands-on activity that gets the kiddos up and moving!
