TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching 7th and 8th graders mathematics in a public school setting since 1999. I also take part teaching incoming 8th graders in a "math institute" each summer.
MY TEACHING STYLE
My teaching style is a mixture of direct instruction and discovery learning with an emphasis on writing & using open-ended questioning strategies.

Teacher of the Year - Hazelwood Northwest Middle School 2007 - 2008 school year (runner up for District Teacher of the Year) Achieved National Board Certification in Mathematics (Ages 7 - 15) in December 2009
