I purchased this packet last week and have used many of the pages. I did notice a typo. On the roll out your long vowel words the directions all say find the long a word that matches. Not a huge deal but thought you might want to know! (I hope I'm not reading incorrectly! :) )

Hello! Thanks for the very fun Culture/Country Report that I purchased. One question - Did you mean to say Antarctica as a country instead of Australia (Oceania is listed at the top too)? My 3rd graders used this form and had trouble shading the country they were studying on the printed world map - maybe it could be bigger?? Are you familiar with any kid-friendly websites that would list the info you requested in the report? Love the idea of it - thanks!!

The reason I did not list Antarctica is because it currently does not have any permanent residents. Oceania can be confusing to the kids, but I wanted to list it on the report for the island countries like New Zealand. I hope I helped to answer your question.
My students have a hard time shading the countries as well. I just have them shade in the entire continent/region that their country is located in. I had a really hard time getting the map bigger and fitting all the other information on the one page. If you would like, I can enlarge the map so that it will take up one page. This will then make the report 3 pages long. Let me know if that is something you are interested in.
