Thanks for the question! When possible, I try to fit two per page to save time at the photocopier - half the copies and time.

Thanks for your answer! (I'm new and sorry, I wasn't sure how to reply besides writing in the "question" box again!) Absolutely, go ahead and change it to vinegar if you want! I think it would help "digest" the food a bit if left for a little while, and the kids could see some bubbling or something going on, probably. I really don't know, it's just a guess! Thanks again!

Buyer re: FREE Stomach Model Digestion Lab
I just downloaded this and it looks excellent at first glance! Thank you!

I was just wondering, however, why you decided to use water as the stomach "acid" instead of a real acid such as vinegar?

Science Teacher Resources  (TpT Seller)
That's a great thought! I hadn't considered it - I just used water for simplicity. If it's ok with you, I may change it to vinegar when I get the chance. The more accurate, the better!

Hi! This is Amy, Head of Community & Editorial on TpT. Just wanted to post here that the paid resource in the free section of today's newsletter is entirely our error (not the fault of Science Teacher Resources) and we regret any confusion.

We encourage you to check out Science Teacher Resources' FREE Stomach Model Digestion Lab here: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-Stomach-Model-Digestion-Lab-454345. Thanks!

Kim Jones  (TpT Seller) re: FREE Identifying Variables Practice
I love it! But... I teach that the the control in an experiment is the thing that is closeset to "normal conditions." The things that we keep the same in every experiment are the "constants".
I'd love to use it if I could edit 'control variable' to 'constant'.
Thanks!

Hi Kim,

Thanks so much for the message - a definite oversight on my part!
I've just uploaded an updated file that uses both terms: control variable and constant, as I'm guessing there's some variation on what teachers prefer.

If you'd like, I'd be happy to email you a version that uses only the term "constant." Please email me at ScienceTeacherResources@ymail.com and I'll send it your way!

Thanks, and please don't hesitate to contact me in the future if I can be of any other assistance.

I was going to not do all the trials but they were insistent that we continue and do all five. They loved it! We ended up doing all of that, but skipping the cotton balls instead. I hated to cut them off they were so into it!

Hi, I used the nervous system lab pack in my classroom today. The kids were totally engaged, and it was a really good activity. One small edit - the counting number sheet doesn't have a number 36 on it :)

Thanks Tara! I'll get right on it!
Pretty impressive that they got to 36! I don't think I had a student leave the 20's this year (although we didn't have time for all of the trials).

Thanks again,
Jeff

You can use powerpoint to create a square shape and then layer images into it. Then you save it as a jpg. Upload it to Photobucket and volia! Then you need the code. How did you make your blue and yellow STR square I can see here? Let's continue this via email 2peasandadog at gmail.com

Hi! Yes it would be for use in my classroom only.

Would be possible to provide the files in form that could be edited (like Word, Writer ...). If not could be the files edited with Adobe Acrobat or similar program? I would translate the text to slovenian everything else would be intact.

Hi Sonja,

Thanks for the question!

This sounds fine to me, assuming that it would be for use in your classroom only, as I'd like to keep my copyright intact. However, the files in my store are all PDFs (and aren't available for editing). What exactly were you thinking?
Please let me know your thoughts - I'd be HAPPY to work together to make my products accessible to your students!

Thanks,
