I have purchased a few of your ppt templates and am thinking about buying a few more during the sale. I wanted to know what your terms of use are? Would it be OK if I created a game using one of your templates and posted it to my store with the questions I came up with. I would give you credit for creating the template and link your store. I wanted to ask, as I respect your hard work. You can e-mail me at beverlyteacher@aol.com to discuss this too. Thanks for your consideration.

Is there a way to use the TrueorNot Powerpoint where if someone guesses wrong- it automatically ends the game, but really the goal is for the kids to just keep getting to play and answer questions. I usually can figure out how to edit things, this one I'm at a loss to fix. Help please :)

You would have to keep score and press the button for the team with the highest score at the end.

I can insert all my questions and answers, but the game does not cover up the answers when the slides are opened. Also, the game opens with no sound. Also, The buzzer sounds for "X" and applause sounds for Team 1 or 2; just no opening sounds. (My PPT is a 2000 version. May be too old?)

In order for the answers to appear covered, you must view the game in slide show mode. The sound can be downloaded at http://www.televisiontunes.com/Family_Feud_-_Late_70s.html. I hope this helps!

My questions for the game: are there sound effects? If I accidentally show the answer, can I go back and block the questions? Does the game calculate the points, or give me a place to write out the points? And last, is there a limit to the number of questions I can have?
Thank you!

Seane Taylor  (TpT Seller)
There are sound effects for the answers and buzzers. It is not set up for calculating points or blocking questions once shown, unless you restart the slide. You would have to have a scorekeeper and host cards or a printed copy of the game so that you know where the answers are located. You can have as many questions and answers as you like, just simply duplicate the game board slides. Hope this helps!

Hi Seanne,

I just bought the Bee Theme Power Point review game. I don't have a lot of experience with animations and power point. The first screen says push here to start but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong or is that just the way it is? Also, with the questions, when I click on one of the answers that I program in, will anything happen or do I have to just tell the kids if the answer is right or wrong.

Thanks for any information you can give. The game is super cute!!

Thank you for your purchase! In order for the animations to work, you must be in slide show mode. Simple click the slide show menu in the top bar, then click start slide show. The start button will begin the game. On the question slides, each answer button is programmed to either buzz (if incorrect) or move to the next question (if correct). Hope this helps, enjoy!

Thank you for your purchase! You must have Microsoft PowerPoint (not PowerPoint viewer) installed on your computer in order to make changes to the template. If so, to add your question, click the text box at the top of the slide that reads "enter question here". Simply delete that text and add your own. To add answers & points, click the text box that reads "enter answer & points here". Simply delete that text and add your own. Repeat this step for all buttons. You may delete extra buttons. Don't forget to save your changes. I hope this helps.

After you click a strike for an answer, the ppt does not go back to the question, but to the winning team slide. Does not allow for multiple chances to answer the question correctly. It's like slide order or commands are off.

I purchased your Classroom Feud Game and had a few questions. Do you recommend that the points start out with one and get 1 higher down the row? Are the answers written on cards? What are the 1, 2, 3 at the bottom and how do they work? Do the teams take turns back and forth? I'm sorry, but I'm just not sure how to get started. Thanks for your help.
August 9, 2010 Report inappropriate comment

Seane Taylor  (TpT Seller)
The points can be set however you like. I do recommend that you write the answer choices on cards so that you remember where each answer is. The 1, 2, and 3 buttons at the bottom are the strikes. If a student gives an answer that is not a choice, then you would press the strikes. The teams would take turns to answer the questions and the team with the most points at the end of the game wins. Hope this helps, enjoy!

Some of my sounds are not playing. For example when a team has one strike the buzzer sounds however if they receive another strike there is no sound. Also I would like to change the applause when a right answer is given to a bell. I am pretty good at PowerPoint and I have tried everything that I know how to do. Is it blocked through your download? Is it possible to add/change sounds?

Try closing and then reopening the powerpoint. The sound should be embedded into the powerpoint, but if it is not working properly you can change it. Open the Powerpoint to slide 8(X #1). Click on slide show and then slide transition. Under the sound tab, change the sound to "voltage". The sound will then change to another "buzz" sound. Do the same for slides 9(X #2)and 10(X #3) as well. To change the sound after clicking a right answer, choose slide show then custom animation. There should be several triggers shown. Click on each trigger and choose effect options. Use the drop menu next to sound to change the tone when choosing a correct answer. Don't forget to save your changes.

This template was created in Microsoft PowerPoint 2005. It may not have the same settings as 2007, but each text button should be set to move on mouse click. The text should only appear when the yellow button is clicked. Under custon animation, be sure that each of the 10 buttons still has its trigger set to "start on click" with a picture of a mouse and a green star next to it. I hope this works.

Thanks for your purchase! The game is set up for true/false questions, but if you want to change it you can. In each question box, it states whether to enter a true or false statement. The true statement slides will hyperlink the true button as the correct answer. The false statement slide will hyperlink the false button as the correct answer. If you change it, you would have to be sure you place the correct answer in the box that hyperlinks the correct answer. Be sure that if you change it, you play the game before you present it to the class to be sure that all of the buttons work properly. Be sure you save it under a different name so that you are able to create more games from this template. Enjoy!

Thank you for your purchase! It is very simple to use. The only slides you need to edit are the three board slides. Where it says "enter question here" you need to type in a question that require more than one answer.(ex. Which animals are examples of herbivores?) Where it says "enter answers & points here" enter the one answer and any point value for each button needed.(ex. horse 3pts) You do not have to use every button. The 1,2,3 buttons at the bottom are for the strikes. Once you finish adding questions and answers to the slides it's done. All you need to do to play is click on slide show on the top tool bar then click view show. Don't forget to save the game under a different name so that you always have the template saved to create more games. Enjoy!

Thank you for your prompt reply. I did set the custom animation to move on a mouse click but it is still not working (I do not see a mouse or green star in m version of PPT). I also discovered that as you set the animation for each text box you have to also declick 9remove the check) for "animate attached shape" in order for the yellow box to stay on the slide. But even when I mve the cursor onto the yellow box, I can see the text but it does not stay on the screen, then when I hit the mouse click the text still comes on screen in the order of the custom animation. Please send a more update version to me at mvineis@mondopub.com (also please remove my email from the posted question). Under custon animation, be sure that each of the 10 buttons still has its trigger set to "start on click" with a picture of a mouse and a green star next to it. If it still doesn't work properly, send me your email address and I will email you another copy of the template.

How do I modify the answer & point buttons to appear in the order that I select? Right now in my animations options I have it set to animate (wipe in right) when I click on it. The computer wants to control a specific order of appearance, but I only want to reveal the answers when they answer correctly. How do I modify this option?

Be sure that your triggers are still set to "start on click." If so, once you click on a specific button, it should only show the answer chosen.

I downloaded this to my computer but cannot make any changes to it. Most of the icons are shaded and don't do anything. The few options that let me click on them say 'this comand is curently disabled'. Please help!

When an incorrect answer is given and you click on the number to get to the X, how do you get back to the game? When I click on the back arrow on the slide, it goes to "congratulations Team 1".
Thank you!

Right click on the back action button and make sure the hyperlink is programmed to last slide viewed. This will solve this problem, but don't forget to save the changes.

Buyer re: Classroom Fortune
Hello!
I just purchased and downloaded your product. I am having trouble with the making changes to it. I need more than two puzzles for what i want to do. How do I do that? I didn't want to copy as paste as that may change the function of the powerpoint.
On slide two, there is a one sentence instruction about how to change the font and the color and nothing else. Could you please help. I will be using this the first week of december.
Thank you

First of all, thanks for your purchase! In order to create more slides, you must click on the slide you want to duplicate. Go to the top toolbar and click insert. On the dropdown menu, click on duplicate slide. This will create a duplicate of the slide and its functions.
