I tried this out the last few weeks of school with students and we all loved it! Excited to start next year from the beginning. How do you bind the workbooks? I have a bunch of those plastic comb-like binding things... but they look too small. Is there a specific size I should order?

I love your work! Would you consider offering your 1st grade homework packet and add on pack with both parts of each number on the same page instead of front and back so they can be just copied and sent for the day rather than copied and cut? Half sheets would make for much more prep time.

I'm sorry no. It would take an incredible number of hours to reformat it that way. All of the many, many graphics and text boxes would have to be rearranged one at a time.
You could just send home the first sheet of language arts one day (assignments 1 and 2) and the math page the next day.

I purchased the 1st grade set through Cordley Elementary a few weeks ago when I thought I was going to be teaching 1st grade. Then I was told that I would be moving to second. So on my own I purchased the second grade set. Now, I just found out that I will be moving to Kindergarten (and staying there!). I would like to keep the 1st grade set since it was through a school order. If possible, I would like to return the 2nd grade set. If you end up making a Kindergarten set I would gladly take that instead. It is a wonderful set!

I am thinking of purchasing your Second Grade Morning Work, too, but then I saw that you have Second Grade Homework as well. Do both products cover the same skills? I was thinking of using the Morning Work as actual morning work and the Homework for her to do independently during afternoon quiet time. However, I don't want to overwhelm her with too much of the same thing or she'll lose interest. Do you think I should purchase one product over the other or both? Your guidance is much appreciated. Hi! I LOVE this review of literacy and math! However, there has been some errors that I keep finding! For example 130 (Part unknown) is incorrect. It is missing an "i" and "e". 125 is missing an "a" in question number 5. 109 (Part unknown) is not correct, there is no 15 and two 5's. 120 (adding ten) there is no number 10 more than 55. 120 (vocabulary) has the wrong instructions (underline should be changed to bold). I would love them to be fixed so I can use these next year. I really like them. Just thought you would like to know. Thanks.

I think there is a mistake on #1 of the Cumulative Math Practice answer sheet. I'm pretty sure the answer is 31 feet not 27 feet. Otherwise, love everything you guys do and can't wait for third grade versions! ;)

Hello! I love this product! I have used it very successfully this year. Please look at the second sheet of number 70 and numbers 5 ( should 28+5 = 33...???) and should number 6...fill in the missing parts of the 100 chart be 26 instead of 38?

No. Sorry. The text is actually written in tables with the lines removed, so getting rid of the numbers would be really difficult. You could white them out if you don't need them.

I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with the programs you mentioned. I tried to plan from a simple to complex standpoint and tried to pace the topics so that regardless of curriculum used, the topics aren't addressed until they will have already been taught in class.

OK, Maybe I will get started with the first part of the year and keep a look out for it in the coming year. I noticed in another comment that there was an update to the morning work for grade 2 in order to correct errors...if I downloaded early in the year, were the updates done after that? Thanks again for all of your hard work! I look forward to purchasing and downloading more:)

I'm not really positive when the update was made, but I'm currently (as in I'm on page 85 right now) working on a newer update that tweaks the layout a bit and adds more place value practice. If you're looking to make copies for next year, try and wait a couple weeks so you can have the newest version. I promise I'm working on it as fast as I can!

Quite a while back I asked about the 2nd grade morning work and if you had the potential for making a weekly quiz that correlated with the morning work packet. I emailed you a sample of what we had been using. I know it is busy, but I was beginning to plan for next year, make copies and remembered as several other people in my grade level have purchased the packet and were asking me if I had heard if it would be available. Thanks!

Is the spelling of Juno, Alaska (used in the preview) an alternative and accepted spelling? I am only familiar with Juneau and want to double check that the spelling is correct before purchasing!
