I have, but I'm not quite sure what would be the best way to handle that. Thanks for putting that idea back on my radar.

Kelly K. re: Foldable Templates for Personal Use
Hi. I purchase your foldable templates for personal use but I am not familiar with using power point (sad, I know!!). I have been playing around a bit but I don't know how to save just the particular template that I want to edit. Is there a way or will it save the entire file each time? Thanks for your help.

There is a way to do that. I'll tell you how to do it and it'll seem way more complicated than it is. It's pretty easy.
1. Open up the foldable templates.
2. Open up a whole other power point documents. You'll want to change the slide orientation to portrait (it automatically has it on landscape - if you don't know how to change the orientation, let me know whether you have a Mac or a PC so I can help you with that).
3. Go to the foldable templates. In the normal view of power point you have the main slide in the main view and on the left side you have all of the slides so you can scroll through them. On that left side, choose the slide that has the template you're wanting to use this time.
4. Right click on that slide and click copy.
5. Go to the other document, the blank one that you opened and changed the orientation on.
6. Right click on the left side, where the new slides are, and click paste.
7. Now you should have that template in a new document. Edit as desired and make sure you save it for later. I save as a power point and as a PDF because I prefer to print from PDF among other reasons.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if parts or all of this is/are confusing.

Buyer re: Decimal Story Problems
I love your products. My students did these at the end of last year and they were a big success. I really like they way they are laid out. This isn't actually a question, but my students last year had wanted me to mention two possible typos and I forgot. On Adding Decimals- #2 : it says "How many pounds "to" the kittens weigh?" and on Adding and Subtracting Money - #2 says - Charlie $ 5.85. Thanks, Annie

Hi there -- I am interested in using the flip book but need a little more clarification - how do you use this?

THANKS

First, have students create the flip book with folding and cutting, then have them complete the front by finishing the saying, i.e. "more on the floor, go next door". Next give them the three problems on the following page in the packet. Let them decide which saying they match up with. They should glue it under the correct flap and solve it. For additional practice, they can use the blank part left in the flap to create and solve a problem they make up that would also fit with that saying. Does that help?

Buyer re: Chevron Cafe Bulletin Board Set
Hi,
I love this set! I printed it once and it was fine, but then I have tried to print it several times since and the A and E both have black lines on the page like something has went wrong in the file. :( Can you let me know if it can be fixed? Thanks!

Hmmmmm. . . that's odd. Have you tried restarting your computer or redownloading the file from TPT? I wonder if there's just some weird glitch that needs to be worked out. Let me know if this works and if not, I'll try to rack my brain a bit more.

Are you opening it with the newest version of Adobe Reader? That could help, if you haven't tried that. Let me know if you're still having trouble and I'll see what else I can do to help out. Thanks for your purchase!

I should have included that in the product info. I'll add it. Just have kids fold on the solid line, then cut on the dotted lines. The sides will fold in, then students can glue the pictures of the coins on the back of the flap that matches, then glue the value of the coin next to that, behind the flap. Does that make sense? I have a picture of a similar one on my blog at http://seizethedaywithsecondgrade.blogspot.com/2012/04/money-money-money-money.html . I hope this helps!

Do you have it set to printable area? Also, did you choose auto-rotate and center? If these things don't work, maybe I could get your email address and email you what my print settings look like.
