I just purchased and downloaded this on my MAC. I have the latest Adobe Reader installed. When I open it though, there are no verses on any of the pages. I have looked through them all and they all have black smudge lines. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, and thanks for your question! This Christ-centered story is an adorable read aloud with lots of poetry, alliteration, and loveable characters. Based on the Magi of the Bible, students will love meeting Cal, Wes, Lou, and Pete. The templates would be great for students to make their own story puppets or set of Magi on the move. I would also recommend you make a classroom set who go on various classroom adventures. I can see that this would lead to many creative writing opportunities, as well as days and days of holiday fun! This would be especially beneficial to teachers at Christian or parochial schools! Hi! This will largely depend on your music selection. Shorter songs with the play will place your run time around 35 minutes. Longer songs will mean a run time of around 45 minutes. It also probably depends on how much shuffling you will do on your stage. Our angels and shepherds always seem to take a while moving from place to place. ;) Hope you enjoy and receive a blessing!!!! Hi! Thank you so much for your inquiry. The original resource had a Brain Train theme--"Tips and Tricks to Keep Your Class on Track." Then I began to receive requests to see these classroom resources with other themes as well. So I created a few others. The content is largely the same with each of these classroom management resources--what varies will be the subject matter. The "Happy Kids" pack is kid-focused with cute traditional school clip art and classroom resources. The "Keep Things Buzzing" has instead been adapted to have a bumblebee theme. If you would like to visit my blog, bryantsbraintrain.blogspot.com, you can see lots of ideas there for how we incorporated these into our weekly class meetings, including ideas for puppets, Bible lessons, coloring pages, etc. Just search for these lessons in the blog search box. There is not any specific pack you will need to purchase, but I will be happy to share my approach to this unit. Like always,I did background research on each Wonder and culture before each class. Then I would introduce each wonder to my students whole group using the background info and pictures (I show these as slides on my Smartboard but you could also print and use as handouts). My students responded using one of the learning log pages provided. My students had done a study of archaeology in a unit prior to this, so I built off of that study of cultures. Also you can use the recommended texts and Internet sites provided in the pack-they will be a great resource for you. Hope this helps, and yes, my blog will have lots of tips for you too about this unit. Thank you so much for your purchase! I can't wait to hear how it goes!!!!!! My kids absolutely loved the creative thinking extensions!!! Shannon:)

Of course, that means I'm busy searching and trying to get my creative juices flowing, but when I saw your devotionals, I wondered if by chance you have anything that might be good for an end-of-school-year chapel? I teach second grade, but our chapel includes pre-school - 8th grade and parents who also attend.

I actually use this with my 3rd graders. I try to differentiate within my resources so that you can scale it up or down as needed.
