I Ihave purchased the the first and second sub plans and found them to be a wonderful help especially when I got the flu this year. So I am going with the third. I wish the author would do two more so that I would have a whole week.

Hi Sorry for the late post....school began! Each day has a different set of plans for the subject areas in first grade. If you are required to turn in three days of sub plans or if you were gone three times during the year- day 1, day 2 and day 3 would cover it. Look at the bottom of each day's introductory page - the lessons are listed.

Hi - everything is included. Just program your subject times, print and leave it. If you would like a read aloud book, you could include your own at some point in the day. Just add it in while programming your times in. Thanks and have a great year!

I have several different days for sale, but each day covers all classes (and more)that you would need for an entire day. You can preview the sample lessons for the day before purchasing. I just wanted to let you know that your first grade sub plans are fantastic! They were a real life saver for my emergency absence. I love that my students did not have to suffer through a "wasted day" due to lack of planning on my part.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Over the past couple of years I have worked in K-1 and 1-2 multiage classroom settings. I also have three years experience teaching first grade, four years teaching second grade and one PreK year. I have been a K-2 Lead Teacher for five years. I have also been a Core Knowledge Curriculum Coordinator. I currently work as an elementary instructional coach - teaching teachers how to teach!
MY TEACHING STYLE
I feel teaching presentation and style must match the classroom dynamics and age level. Since I work with little ones, I prefer to do a lot of hands-on activities that break concepts down into simple manageable chunks and make learning fun. In my classroom, we get out of our chairs, laugh, sing, dance, work/talk in teams, maintain consistency, and drill the basics.
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
I have been awarded teacher of the month twice at my charter school and have received Model Classroom status from Reading Renaissance for two years. I have been nominated for a Disney Teacher award and won a Target Teacher Scholarship. But best of all....I get hugs and smiles from my students everyday!
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I have a Master's in Curriculum Instruction from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA and Bachelor of Arts in Technical Journalism from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. I hold professional teaching licenses in Colorado and Wisconsin. I am currently working toward my ESL license.
