I have been teaching seventh grade science at the same middle school since 2005. I also teach Biology in the evenings to students who are in an alternative high school diploma program. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a camp counselor, which is when I decided that teaching was for me!
I'm pretty eclectic...I do what I can to make sure the kids understand the topic and won't forget it!
Other than the multiple "Best Teacher" Awards that I have received from students...I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Delta Epsilom Sigma Honor Societies.
I attended Niagara County Community College and earned an Associates in Liberal Arts, transferred to Niagara University and earned a Bachelor's in Biology Education, and am currently working on a Master's degree.
