Thanks. I have created 24 weeks (school year including 6 review weeks) of academic vocabulary lessons and activities (including quick writes). I created the organizer (used in the presentation) and students use a copy of the organizer to learn the words.
I can add the visuals to the word sorts (I use these for various group activities) - no problem.
My description was "Novel supplemental with web activity." The "description" you question and rated my work on, is a description that was placed on the “preview†by Teachers Pay Teachers. I'm sorry you were disappointed as my description of the work was accurate. My students love this activity (especially my students who are English learners).

I'm just down the road from you, so I know you're aligned with CA standards. I'm a 6th Grade Language Arts teacher (first year) so I'm struggling with curriculum.
Can you tell me, please: are the words on your cards taken from the Coxhead list?
Marzano? Kate Kinsella? I am having a problem using a workbook for AcVoc because "it may not have been adopted by the district." Are there any OTHER AcVoc lists besides those mentioned above? Is there some way for me to see the whole Coxhead list without having to buy a pricey book? I just want to be sure that these are "THE" AcVoc words so I can go back to the powers that be and say, "These ARE what the District is using." Looking forward to hearing from you.
