I have over twenty years teaching experience and I teach all math levels, the sciences, writing, language arts, social studies, history, college prep, college admission essays and SAT, PSAT, ACT, GED. College level courses are in sociology and anthropology.
As a professional tutor I instruct in most academic subjects. I enjoy working with students of all ages and learning styles. My specialty is making learning fun.
Dear Shawna, Last week, when I was not feeling well, Drake asked if he could take a taxi to your house for his tutoring session. When I said "No" he asked if he could ride his bike.....I think he enjoys his time with you. Thanks again, Deanna. (Drake is 11 and lives about 30 miles away).
A graduate of Southern Oregon University, I received a Master of Arts in sociology from Washington State University and then returned to SOU as an instructor for the Sociology Department and the Youth Academy Programs. I currently teach sociology and anthropology through University of Idaho's Independent Study Program. I also keep busy with my tutoring business Learning Is Fun.
