TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my 16th year teaching middle school students. I have 15 years experience teaching math(pre-alg, alg, special ed, advanced/gifted, integrated alg/geom). This year I'm teaching 7th grade Life Science and 8th grade Physical Science. While I've taught Physical Science 6 years in the past, this is my first time teaching Life Science.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I teach to the standard. I believe in standards-based grading. My classroom learning environment includes organization skills, note-taking, hands-on labs, cooperative work, projects, and differentiated assessments.
