I'm glad this quiz was useful. You may like to try my quizzes on some of the individual tales, such as "The Pardoner's Tale." I also have a chart of Canterbury Tales characters that works well for review. Happy travels through Canterbury.

I am glad you can use this quiz. I will work on a true/false or multiple choice quiz in addition. You made me realize that I'm overlooking an important tool for teachers. Thank you for the feedback. Sometimes, I like short answer quizzes to force students to think about their answers and to make cheating more difficult. Your use of them for discussion or review is a great idea.

This unit has 5 short-answer quizzes; the test has 18 matching, 9 sentence completions; 28 short-answer questions, and 1 discussion question. Answer keys are provided for all parts. I have another item called Jurassic Park Project with a list of 10 suggested creative projects with specific explanations. I hope you and your students will enjoy this novel. My students loved it.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught mostly English classes in middle school, junior high school, and senior high school. I have worked with basic level, regular, advanced, and advanced placement. One year I taught alternative school for students who had been expelled from public school. I have one year's experience with 4th grade and several classes at National College, including composition, literature, math, critical thinking.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Most of my teaching methods focus on self-discovery or small-group cooperative learning. I establish a learning goal, then preview, study or read, review, assess learning, re-learn when necessary, and incorporate higher-level thinking with projects or discussion.
