Use these fun, spider themed practice mats to help your students develop fluency with cvc words. Students start at the little spider (12 o’clock position) and work clockwise around the web to read each word. Each cvc word is just one letter different than the word before it.
As a challenge, cover up a word and have students figure out which word is missing by looking at the words around it.
Great for whole group practice, guided reading, or even RTI groups as a warm-up activity.
