I downloaded your integer PIG game. I have never played PIG before! Does each individual student need their own set of the cards provided in the download? Or do I copy the cards provided in the download and give a set of 40 cards to each group playing?

First, thank you for your purchase. I will work on improving the instructions for the game for others who download to hopefully clear up any confusion. Anyhow, there are 12 sets of 4 integer cards. Each set has an addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problem that equates to the same answer. For each player in the group, you will need 1 set of 4 integer cards that equate to the same value. For example, if 5 players are playing, you will use 5 sets of 4 matching integer cards for the group. If 7 players are playing you will use 7 sets of 4 matching integer cards. These cards are then shuffled and dealt to each player so that each player has four cards. The object is to make a set of 4 cards that equate to the same value in your hand. The players then select one of their cards to pass to the player on their right. Once all cards are passed, the players pick up their new card and hope it matches one or more of the cards in their hand. When a player gets all four matching cards (they equal the same value), they place their finger on the nose indicating they have their completed set. The other players then place their finger on their nose. The last player to place their finger on their nose is the loser of the round and receives a letter. I hope this helps. Please feel free to message me again if you need further direction. ~ Cheryl

jodiegates re: Geometry Interactive Word Wall with Pictorial Word Wall Words
I'm sorry if you've answered this somewhere else, and I just didn't see it. Are they formatted to print a certain size?
August 24, 2013
Solve4Pi  (TpT Seller)
Most of the Geometry pictorial words are 8.5" x 11" in size. A few are smaller and may have two on a sheet. They are all in color, so printing on white card stock and then laminating them will help them to last for a very long time. The plain words are usually 2 per page so that the font is large enough to see across the classroom. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Enjoy your year!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Teaching is my second career. I spent 14 years in the computer software industry, starting out as a programmer and working my way up to Information Systems Manager. I then owned a small newsletter publishing business for 5 years. After selling the business, I decided to teach math - my very favorite subject. I have taught Intensive math, Pre-Algebra and Algebra I in a middle school classroom, and I've taught Intensive Math, Algebra 1 and Geometry in the High School setting. I currently am teaching High School Pre-Calculus, Algebra II and at the college level Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a very mixed style of teaching depending on my audience. I like to use hands on activities whenever possible. I also believe that the only way to reach every student is to teach several different ways of arriving at the same answer. Most students will find the way that is the easiest for them to understand.
