Move to that number of spaces. If they can read the number they land on they can stay. If not they go back to where they were. You can also make up your own rules.

Yes. I like these games because there isn't a lot of prep time of cutting and laminating. Students can use plastic spinners or paperclip/pencil combo and move to that space. If they can't read the word, they go back to the spot they were at. I hope this makes sense:)

I love taking requests but can't promise a fast outcome because this Pete set took a month to design! I'll get faster someday. BTW, these graphics are Vector so they can be scaled and printed the size of your classroom windows and doors. Gotta love Illustrator!

I was just wondering how they get 4 in a row or diagonal, when there are only 3 across. The only way to get 4 is vertical. Shouldn't there be 4 across?

That is a great question! There is actually 2 pieces that need to be put side by side creating 6 across and 4 down. I like to use a manilla file folder and glue each piece to it that way it can be folded up to store. I hope this answers your question and let me know if you have any other questions. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I currently work in a Title 1 school with an 80% ELL population. When you teach English Language Learners, it is important to provide many visuals in your lessons to make sure your students are understanding what is being taught.
MY TEACHING STYLE
As a teacher, I tend to focus on activities as a way to engage student-centered learning. In my classroom, there is a responsibility placed on the students for meeting the expectations I have for them. My students learn how to work with and actively participate with other students, use critical thinking skills, and problem solve. I provide the students with tools to ensure these successes.
