Stacy, hi! Like so many other admirers, this timer is super cute and super practical and I think my students will love it! You can add more slides. Just click add a slide. The powerpoint is just a template. You will need to type in the next number of minutes and add a picture. You can add or subtract as many slides as you want. You can also add sound or change pictures. Does this help?

I just saw your grid charts advertised on sale. I have very similar games on my site that I call "Grid Games." I like the game because not only does it help kids learn how to use coordinates, but it also shows them how life is not always fair and this game is not always fair! I make everything as a 'file folder' game because they are easy to label, store and put out for centers. Great job!

You have to protect all of your creations.

Each game board comes with two spinners. One for single consonants and one for blends/digraphs. You choose which spinner to use according to the student's reading ability. Students use a pencil and paper clip to spin the spinner. For example, students spin the spinner and it lands on the letter 'M'. The student puts the letter 'M' in front of the word family on the game board. For example, on the game board is '___at'. Put 'm' in the blank and it makes the word 'mat'. The student places their game piece on the space '__at' because it makes a word with the letter 'm'. Players take turns spinning and finding words that make sense on the gameboard.

Hi. Let me see if I can help. If you open up the Powerpoint you can pick how many minutes you would like to set the timer for. For example, if you only want 10 minutes, pick the slide that has 10 minutes on it. Then at the bottom of the slide are some icons. (next to the zoom setting) If you pick the icon that looks like a desk, it should start the timer. and after 1 minutes the slide will change to 9 minutes left. Does this help?
