TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Biology Teacher: 4 years Physics Teacher: 3 years Physical Science: 4 years Special Education Life Science: 1 year Continuous Work with Special Education Students: 7 years

MY TEACHING STYLE

It is my goal to instill in students a sense of self worth and help them see themselves as successful both in and out of academia. Through various methods of reasoning and problem-solving, students in my class are challenged to step outside the box and ask questions of themselves, their community, and the complex global society. Discussions and debates about current issues in the science world are not uncommon in my classroom. Students have the right to express themselves and their opinions in my classroom. They should approach the diversity of opinions not as something to reject but something to embrace and explore.
