The Teacher's Binder is and contains the pages and resources that are already published. I am sorry, but if you are writing about three year olds, I do not have anything that has been published aimed at that group children. Stevan

Hi Steven,

On my blog I list five resources that can be found at Teachers Pay Teachers for free.

I was wondering if you would like this product to be one of the Five Friday Freebies? I try to list items from different levels, etc. I just give them a link to the store and tell them who the author is.

Here is my blog address http://vintageteacher.blogspot.com

Thanks

Hi! Thank you for your question. I would definitely be interested in participating, as you suggested. I only ask that you let me know when it is posted so that I can have a look at the post. I also wanted to mention to you that I have a mailing list that I use to give away many freebies to teachers, so if you want, you can suggest to teachers to sing up using the form on my home page (http://www.TimesaversForTeachers.com), and then continue to get freebies about every three weeks. Let me know if you have any other questions please. Regards - Stevan

Hi Steven, Just to clarify - if the school region buys your essay e-book, the region pays 29.95 to install the e-book on one computer or on the server?
If I buy the e-book for 29.95, I can install the e-book on my school computer, print the document and use the e-book with one student at a time on my school computer only? I've done a cursory look at the essay e-book and it looks good. I like the idea that the e-book is interactive. Thanks. Twila

Hi Twila... thank you for your question! The purchased one computer, interactive book is licensed to be installed on one computer for one teacher only, within one classroom. You are also welcome to print the pages within the interactive version and use it for the rest of the students in your class, BUT only one computer is to be used. If you want an additional license for the book to be installed on more than one computer, please visit my book landing page here and take a look at the cost of additional licenses: http://www.timesaversforteachers.com/index_page0084.htm Let me know if you have any other questions please Twila.

I am wondering if I could have permission to use some of your work on my website. I am currently in the work of building an educational website/online school. My aim is to create one of the biggest resources for education, a portal that will help parents help their kids at school, assist homeschoolers and teachers. I want to provide quality materials that will enhance a child’s educational experience. I am currently buying and creating quality educational resources.

I will make sure all work is credited to the creator. Please feel free to have a look at my website so that you get a more detailed idea of what my mission is. (Be aware that this is only a draft and it is still in the early stages of development.

Hi, well, to be honest, I am not a kindergarten teacher so you would need to ask someone who actually works in this kind of a setting. I would imagine that adding or having centers would add order and create opportunities for a variety of activities to be performed in the classroom, which frees up time for you, perhaps for individualized assistance and other important tasks :) Regards, Stevan, founder: TimesaversForTeachers.com

I can tell you are an organized, efficient teacher by the consideration and time put into the Teacher's Binder. Is there any way I could have a copy of page 90 Weekly Lesson Plan that I could change and save electronically. It would help me greatly.

Hi Theresa,

Have you considered getting the interactive version of Teacher's Binder? It gives you the ability of actually typing info into the pages and then even saving if you have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer. I invite you to visit my website at www.TimesaversForTeachers.com and have a look around. You can actually even get my Classroom Timesavers and Magic Classroom Timesavers for free as long as you fill out the form on the home page. Once you sign up, you in addition to the free bonus, you will receive in the future messages other freebies, tips and resources.

Not sure if I can send you the single page your requested, as is. I could separate it and make it saveable but that would take me too much time to create. I suggest that you just get the Teacher's Binder interactive version from my site :) This would be easier on me and save me time.

Let me know please if you have any additional question and I appreciate your complement and feedback.

Warmest regards,

Stevan

Hi Sherie... yes, the books are interactive when using a computer. This means that you would be able to enter/type information in areas where you would normally write by hand, using a computer. You can also save all the information that you enter and change or modify any of it over time. Seeing that this is a PDF file you can definitely save all information as long as you have Adobe Acrobat installed on that computer. These files are very popular with teachers so I hope that it will be of benefit to you as well. Let me know if you have any other questions Sherie.... Stevan

Hi Steve,
I'm not sure how long ago, but I signed up for a membership on your internet site but am not reaping the benefits of signing up. I believe I received a disk or CD with Time savers for Teachers and something else. Somewhere between acquiring a new computer and misplacing the disk or CD is where I lost contact with the site. This may have been as long as 10 years ago. I believe I paid about $25 for a lifetime membership. Can you help me sort this out? Thanks for helping me. My email address is jgk56efmd@yahoo.com. Back then, I had an AOL address.

Sincerely,

Hi Alisha. Thanks for the question. The book has 71 pages, about 50 unique spelling activities sheets and also about 9 spelling helpers. The best way to see what the book is about is to purchase the book, have a look around and if you like what you see you keep it, if you don't write back and speak to me about it. Best regards...

Hi Penny,

Thaks fo ryour kind comment. I appreciate the time you took to write. Each book is different from the other in its unique way but if I was to suggest the one the has the most material to offer, it would be the Teacher's Binder, Interactive version. The other book that is extremely popular wiht teachers is the Report Card and IEP Comments. I hope that I have answered your question. You are welcome also to come to my site (www.TimesaversForTeachers.com) where you can quickly explore each book and its samples by just clicking on each book icon and then going to the sample pages. Let me know Penny if you have any other questions. Best regards... Stevan

To Rbranton,

Interactive version permits you to type information directly onto the forms instead of writing and, if you have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer, you can also save all the information you have entered. Teachers that own the interactive versions find them very useful and practical. See three pages of unsolicited teacher comments here: http://www.timesaversforteachers.com/index_page0001.htm. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks....

What is the difference between the interactive version and the non-interactive version?

Hi Capable Girl,

I appreciate the question you sent and thank you for the complementary comments. Teacher's Binder is interactive in the sense that the spaces that require a teacher to enter information permit typing of words into those areas. Therefore you can complete forms with your own information and then print it or save it. To be able to save one must have Adobe Acrobat installed on the computer. This is just the way PDF files work. Titles, images and some textual informatiom that is already there cannot be changed. Most teachers are picky about many things and this is the way teachers are... that is a good thing. I can tell you that Teacher's Binder has proven to be very popular with teachers over the years, especially the interactive version. Have you checked out any of the other books such as the Report Card and IEP Comments? Did you know that two other books are interactive?

Thanks for your questions and please do get back to me if you have more.

I want to be sure that I understand exactly what is meant by "interactive." I believe it to mean that I will be able to enter typed information in the areas where it is called for. Am I correct? Also, for instance, I noticed that your scoring rubric uses a different grading scale than what my school uses. Does "interactive" mean that I'll have access to change aspects of documents that don't coincide with my needs? All of your products seem to be of high enough quality to please even me, and I'm picky. I like that your style is visually interesting but still tasteful. I want to buy the interactive version of The Teacher's Binder, but I need to make sure of the details before I spend the cash. Thanks for making the products of your years of teaching available. I'm unsure if you'll post an answer or respond by email, but I guess you have access to my email through my registration. Thanks for your time. CapableGirl@yahoo.com

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 22 years, most of which was done in a Special Education classroom. I have also taught ESL, Physical and Health Education and Art. As part of my teaching experience I have mainly taught, Language, Mathematics, History, Geography, social and organizational skills

MY TEACHING STYLE

When I teach I like to be well prepared so that there is no doubt in my mind about what I am doing. I usually produce most of my teaching materials as I believe that students should be given handouts and resources that are visualy attractive, useful, easy to read and to the point. Tests that I give to the students are designed on the computer using self-created templates that include clipart and interesting fonts. I am convinced that this makes them less intimidating for students and therefore lead to increased level of achievement. I believe in making teaching and learning fun, always finding ways to help students relate learning to what they already know. Students should be encouraged to learn through problem solving and hands on activities as much as it is possible. My classroom is usually well organized, a place where every student is safe, respected, and treated as important and unique.
