I've taught Spanish and English for 12 years in West Virginia and North Carolina. Presently, I teach at Westside High School in southern WV. My current classes are: Spanish II, Advanced Placement English Literature, and English 10 Honors.

I take a very serious approach to teaching. I believe all students can learn; they just have different styles of doing it. I like to have fun while working with my students in class. I design my projects around things that students enjoy. I like to use as many of the 21st Century Learning Tools as possible.

I am listed as a "Highly Qualified Teacher" in the state of WV. I am certified to teach Advanced Placement English Literature by the College Board.

I am certified in Spanish 5-12 and English 5-12. I am presently working on a Master's Degree in Leadership Studies. I would like to become a principal in the future. I am a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, WV.
