My Teaching Experience

Tutor in adult education, reading consultant in diagnosis and intervention all grades, elementary reading specialist, university professor for graduate and undergraduate courses in literacy education and English composition and literature, currently department chair of reading and teacher in grades 7 and 8 in reading.

My Teaching Style

Constructivist, balanced approach; I also like to teach with an apprenticeship style where I serve as model and guide working alongside students; I use a lot of visual arts and drama when I teach reading.
