Little People Lessons
Little People Lessons  (TpT Seller) re: Egg Dissection (primary)
I do a lesson on eggs with my preschoolers and I've always taught that the little indentation in the hard boiled egg was the area for the air sac. Is that correct? In your diagram it looks like the air sac is between the membrane and the shell and I don't see an indentation and I'm wondering if I've been teaching it incorrectly. Mary Ann
PS I really like your diagram. :-)

You are correct! It was a challenge putting my diagram together (drawing is not my forte, especially in the digital world). There is an indentation for the air sac and you can especially see it in a hard boiled egg. :)

Thank you! Now for the "dumb" teacher question: are there teacher answers to these labs? Because I certainly know what I see when I mix vinegar and baking soda at home, but with no science background, I don't know what the answer is...and then do you teach the concept afterwards? Or are they front loaded in a previous lesson? I am most likely going to buy the Easy Peasy Experiments anyway...nice work!

There is some background for the teacher for each experiment. :) I teach the concept before. Baking soda (solid) plus vinegar (liquid) = carbon dioxide (gas) the kids love this! :)

Hi! I purchased the science theme classroom set. I printed off the alphabet cards and when I was hanging them in my classroom, I realized that there are 2 Xx cards and not a Yy card. Could you please correct this for me? Thanks so much!

I have downloaded the newest version of Adobe and I am unable to preview this item. Are you aware of any problems with the download preview or could it be something else on my computer?
Thanks for your help.
